The STEM disciplines; Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics are strategically important for employment and for our economy. The Alabama Science Teachers Association is providing leadership to disseminate research-informed best practices in teaching and learning for all STEM disciplines through MISSION: iScience, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Mission: iSTEM will take place at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama, February 14-16, 2013. Since STEM is such a widely-encompassing arena, we are inviting all stakeholders to participate in this vitally important endeavor….teachers, researchers, educational administrators, higher education and the business community. Partnerships are critical to ensure success for all of our students.
