ASTA Science Day Camp

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a participant at the most magical field trip experience in all the land?  Come join us for the day at McDowell Environmental Center and McDowell Farm School and see what all the buzz is about!  This is a sampler.  Your registration also includes membership to ASTA.

Date - Monday, Nov 18, 2019

Cost - $35 per person  (includes lunch, a full day of exploration at McDowell Environmental Center and McDowell Farm School, and ASTA membership)

Pre-registration is required. Deadline to register is Nov 13, 2019.

Agenda for the day includes:

     - Sign in at the Camp McDowell store from 8-8:45

     - Welcome meeting - 9:00

     - Classes 9:30-11:45

     - Lunch - 12:00

     - Classes 12:45 - 2:45

     - Closing - 3:00

     - Depart for home - 3:30

    If anyone is interested in coming in Sunday Nov. 17, 2019 to stay the night before, please contact Maggie Johnston at maggie@campmcdowell.com with "ASTA Science Day Camp " in the subject line.  

      The lodge rooms are hotel style with two queen beds in each room and a private bath. This includes all linens, towels and a shared kitchen. The cost for a single room is $115 per person, and a double room is $65 per person.  

     The cabins have 20 twin beds in one cabin with a bathroom in the cabin. Lines are not included. The cost is $22 per person. 

     If you come on Sunday, you will need to provide your own dinner and breakfast.  The only meal included is lunch on Monday.
