Environmental Science Camp for Teachers

To continue the Informal Science Strand begun at the March 2017 Conference, ASTA and Camp McDowell have partnered for a special event.

Gear Up: Experience Informal 

Environmental Science Education!

All activities 3-D Learning aligned.

Come explore the ecology of the farm:  the plants ready to harvest and the animals at work on the McDowell Farm School.  Take a hike into Alabama’s beautiful canyons while learning more about McDowell Environmental Center. Comparing the farm ecosystems to the forest and streams of McDowell will bring the biology and geology of our state to life in your classroom.

Space is limited.

Registration Deadline is September 30, 2017.
